Tommy's Homework

Hey guys!
This is basically a children story/poem I wrote, and it's called Tommy's Homework.
In a way, I was being a hypocrite when I wrote it because it was my last-minute English  homework. I had *completely* forgotten about it and only remembered it when I heard a girl mentioning ' the poem for English class ' literally five minutes before class would start. So, I had to write a poem within five minutes and this is what I managed to come up with:

Tommy is a good obedient kid-sometimes.
The thing is, he never does his homework!
One day,
When the teacher asked for it, he said:
" I did my homework, Mr. Jay!
But it got up and flew away!
I chased it down the river,
and all the way to Grandville Valley,
It even flew into the Grand Alley!
I ran and ran, but couldn't quite catch up
In the end it flew into my Granny's house and got covered with ketchup!
Pal, granny's dog, likes ketchup, you see..
So he took my homework and ate it all up! "
Mr. Jay responded:
" Okay, Tommy.
Well, listen,
I was going to give you an A,
But it also flew away!
I tried to chase it,
but I'm too old, you see
So I gave up, and let the wind take it away..."
Well, there isn't much more I can say, so.. Happy random reading! <3 :D
